Server Room Structured cabling and networking


Here are two photos before and after of a server room that was designed by yours truly. The reasons for the project were to improve performance, ease of operations, and scalability of the network. Noticeably, after the completion of the project, the company experienced increased productivity.


The ability to organize and maintain items for technical support.


Here are two photos before and after of a metal storage cabinet that gave me the idea to store and secure items such as hardware, peripherals, manuals, software, cables, backup tapes, tools, switches, and routers. Storing items allows for quicker access, thus reducing the operational downtime to replace devices.

I am diagnosing one of my company's workstations for performance issues.


Here are two photos with depictions; the image on the left is special software that I have used to provide details of the overall health of an end-user CPU. The software ALERTS me that the hard drive will FAIL in less than an hour. Hence, a replacement was done to minimize downtime. The image on the right also used a specialized device to test for the DC (direct current) and AC (alternating current) passing through the motherboard


I am doing wired Networking and Cable maintenance.


Here are two photos of depictions; the image on the left demonstrates replacing a damaged RJ45 cable with a 110 impact tool and tester to ensure the process was successful. The image on the right shows the patching of cables to switches to provide up-link and demonstrates my cable maintenance skills.

Everton as a Microsoft Office O365 Administrator.


Being a systems administrator, one of the applications I am tasked with is Office O365; this application is the primary means of communication (emailing, reports, presentations, statistics, etc.) for my company; all members of staff must access O365. The application also requires maintenance (troubleshooting, re-installations, configurations, password resets, migrations of cloud emails).

Being a systems administrator, installing and configuring operating systems on servers for business purposes to improve efficiency for my company can be challenging. However, the satisfaction comes when the outcomes contribute positively to the company's overall objectives.

As a skilled computer technician, one of my core functions is to repair and maintain servers occasionally to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. The image on the left depicts an HP ProLiant ML350 server being serviced for a memory upgrade and CPU cleaning.
